The Footwork Dance School is based in Chelmsford, Essex, with classes of children and adults, special needs and performing groups. Dance parties, venue hire, rehearsal space and private lessons are also available by request.
Mardi Gras
The team are aged between 10 and 18 years and have attended regular dance classes for many years. They have performed in the Mardi Gras shows at the Sadlers Wells and Her Majesty's Theatres in London. They have also appeared in many local community shows, events and school fetes. The Footwork Dance school has been going strong for 30 years, firstly in East London, then at its current base in Chelmsford, Essex.
Our classes cover Ballet, Tap, Disco, Jazz, Street and Latin. We are also proud of our associated links with dance teams, Dance 21 and the Chelmsford Mencap Gateway Club, who are taught by Jean, and have also appeared in the Mardi Gras shows and many other venues.
All classes offer a friendly and caring environment with 100% success rate in their dance examinations. Guest choreographers and special workshops will be posted on the Newsletter.
